Martha Poly is a film editora born in San Diego,CA (USA) and raised in Mexico City. Her passion for telling stories led her in a long journey of exploring different disciplines such as writing, acting, directing; until finally concentrated all her skills into visual storytelling by doing photography, sound design and film editing. All this experience gave her a visually-educated eye and a trained ear for music and sound design which enriches her film editing. Her editing mostly focuses on fiction and documentary feature films, series and commercials, she has also worked on short-films and music videos. Her projects have been selected in festivals such as Cannes Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival, Cannes Lions Festival, Morelia Film Festival, Guadalajara Film Festival and Raindance Film Festival. Her commercial work has been recognized at Cannes Lions, AICP Awards and Circulo Creativo (MX). She specializes in horror/thrillers and has done a lot of comedy work too.
